Today, a training session was held with law students on “Monitoring Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in Albania”, led by Lecturer Dr. Pjereta Agalliu.
Students learned about:
- The legal and institutional framework for public-private contracts in Albania.
- Methods and indicators for monitoring PPPs.
- Challenges Albania faces in implementing these contracts.
- Their role as active citizens in ensuring transparency and accountability.
The session included lively discussions and many questions about the role students can play as active monitors, based on best European practices.
This training was organized as part of the project “Building Capacities for Sustainable Monitoring of Public Contracts”, supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Albania, under the #MATRA2024 program.
