CLE – Centre for Legal Empowerment, in partnership with Albanian Institute for Research, organized the third focus group. This time, participants were students from the University of Tirana, Epoka University and Beder. The students were from the fields of law and journalism and discussed public contracts, sharing their theoretical and practical knowledge on the subject.
From the meeting, the following conclusions were reached:
1. The theoretical knowledge acquired at university is insufficient to fully understand the process and institutions involved in the implementation of a public contract;
2. The sources of information about these contracts are unclear and insufficient.
This initiative was organized within the project “Building capacities for sustainable monitoring of public contracts” supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands (Embassy of the Netherlands in Albania) , under the #MATRA program.
